McCall's M6827

McCall's M6827 in Vogue Fabrics knit

Pattern
McCall's M6827, View C for the body
View A for the sleeve

Fabric
Polyester Knit Floral from Vogue Fabrics

Construction
The top was easy to construct.  For the sleeves, I machine basted the sleeve front to the back.  Then, added clear elastic with another basting stitch.  To put the sleeve together for good, I serged over the elastic and basting stitches.  All hems were coverstitched and the neckline is fold-over elastic.

I had a wonderful Mother's Day with my kids.  I got a fancy new camera lens that I had to try, so I  took this picture of my sewing room yesterday.  My latest leg of my "fitting journey" has been drafting a moulage and sloper from Kenneth King's CD books.  They are WONDERFUL!  The sleeve draft was the best fitting sleeve I have ever made.  The moulage and sloper reflect my lop-sided body.    I will report and show more later.......

My sewing room explosion after drafting Kenneth King moulages and slopers.  Paper and muslin were everywhere!  My scissors kept disappearing along with the rulers!
